- Shoot body forward so that body glides in the water, and hand in front "digs" into the water IN FRONT.
- Hand that digs into the water presses ON the water and acts as an anchor point for the body
- Hand pressing on the water proceeds to press on the water and crawl through the water slowly, all the while maintaining a pressure on the water under the palm, and when the body twists, use the body twist as an additional energy source to to push the water backwards.
- Having achived a balance point on the crawling arm, legs can afford to kick less.
